Wattledale Border Collies is excited to announce that we welcomed 8 beautiful Pedigree Puppies on the 05/04/2025 to parents Phoebe and Keith.
Puppies are currently 4 weeks old
We are taking expressions of interest for the following:
Girls:
Artemis - Chocolate girl
Hera - Tri Chocolate girl
Aphrodite - Seal girl
Athena - Chocolate girl
Boys
Hermes- Black and white boy
Apollo- Tri black and white boy
Hercules - Seal boy
Ares - Black and white boy
Puppies will be ready to go home on the 31/05/2025 at 8 weeks of age.
Mum, Phoebe, is Sable with long hair. She has a medium drive, is very happy for exercise, but quite content with lazy days on the lounge also. Phoebe is very intelligent, and needed very little training as a puppy. She has a beautiful calm nature and is very easy going. She absolutely loves our children and is an amazing mum to her puppies.
Dad, Keith, is Chocolate with long hair, also with a medium drive. He is a lovely natured dog who just loves to be with you. He will always be a puppy at heart, his favourite activities are playing with the kids, coating himself in mud and lying in the sun like a lizard.
Both of these dogs are a part of our family and we love them dearly.
Here at Wattledale Border Collies, we believe in early socialisation by exposing the puppies to as many sights, smells and people as we can. Puppies grow very fast and take in a lot in their first few months. Exposure in a positive manner to different stimuli, will make the transition to a new home much easier, and give the babies a good head start in their social development.
These puppies are born onto a farm, with exposure to sheep, ducks, chooks and cats. We also have young children who will spend many hours with the puppies. Once they reach an appropriate age, the puppies will be exposed to car rides, baths and crates.
The pups will be raised indoors until they reach 4 weeks of age, and then begin to spend more and more time outside, coming indoors at night time. Pups will begin the toilet training process before they go to new homes also.
Our Puppies will come to you:
*With Pedigree papers (limited registration, meaning pets only and not for breeding, Mains register can be negotiated if appropriate )
*Fully vet checked
*Microchipped
*wormed every 2 weeks since birth
A puppy pack to get you started
DNA testing results and pedigree papers of both mother and father
Puppies will be raised on a premium diet for optimum health
If transportation is required for interstate, this can be arranged by the new owner and at their cost.
We welcome visits to meet the puppies, and if you are unable to make the journey, we are happy to arrange video calls. Photos will be updated every week, and we are very active on our Facebook page with extra information on how the puppies are progressing, additional photos and videos.
Both parents have been DNA tested through Orivet to ensure they are clear of any inheritable diseases that Border Collies are know for. Our dogs are 100% clear, guaranteeing their puppies will be also.
If you have any questions or would like extra photos or videos, do not hesitate to ask. Puppies will only go to approved homes. Border Collies are active dogs, and need an active family who will meet their needs.
